In May 2015 I was commissioned by the Minnesota Street Project to photograph the transformation of 1275 Minnesota Street building from an industrial warehouse into a cultural hub. I began by observing and recording the dismantling of the space. I constructed photographs and made transitory sculptures as the skeletal space became a structured environment throughout the year. These photographs present ephemeral sculptural moments—temporal by nature—made from the detritus of the construction materials. My photographs from 1275 Minnesota Street examine transition presenting an archeology in reverse.
